Scalp care preparation
The invention relates to a scalp care preparation which has in a gel-like water-alcohol mixture Fennelsamen-, Zahnstocherkraut- and apple fruit extract and hexapeptide-11.
Such preparations are already in innumerable variants - with or without further ingredients - on the world market. For example, "Re-Vitalizing Hair & Personal Care Products, "Nutra Peptide Sensory Serum" from Mermaid Minerals or "Biojen 9 Hair & Scalp Rejuvenator "by Beauty Care Choices.
Fennel seed and / or toothpaste extract promote scalp circulation through increased microcirculation in the area of the hair follicles, apple fruit extract and / or hexapeptide-11 aim at a skin cell-renewal effect and improve hair fixation in the scalp, thus reducing hair loss. Hexapeptide-11 may also be the biochemical. Conversion process from fluff hair to terminal hair affect positively. It is known in several sequence forms, such as. WO 2012/044745 A2 or US 2011/0052676 A1.
Although the compositions of the known preparations sometimes differ greatly, the proportion of hexapeptide-11 and a fruit extract, eg. Apple fruit extract, for example in the range of 2 to 6% by weight, that of fennel seed and / or toothpickery extract approximately in the order of 1% by weight. The drug concentrations are therefore relatively high.
The manufacturer's instructions regarding the recommended applications of the preparations vary from once daily to once or twice a week massaging into the scalp. The preparations, however, can only develop the activity that corresponds to the surface temperature of the scalp.
DE 10 2006 056 249 A1 discloses a care or cleaning product which contains in a carrier substrate (eg cloth or sponge) a "3-component" composition which comprises at least one (eg a dermatological) active ingredient and one in contact with water -2- heat-releasing substance, eg. Calcium chloride or magnesium sulfate, which latter may be embedded in gelatin capsules which are destructible during application of the product due to mechanical action.
The aim of the invention is a scalp preparation with compared to the prior art much lower, quasi-homeopathic, drug concentration, the effectiveness of which, however, higher, but still bearable, temperatures during the application at least equivalent, if not increased.
This object is achieved with a scalp care preparation of the type mentioned in the present invention by containing 0.030 to 0.150 wt% fennel seed extract 0.030 to 0.150 wt% Zahnstocherkrautextrakt 0.005 to 0.030 wt% apple fruit extract 0.001 to 0.030 wt% hexapeptide-11 and 1,000 to 5,000 wt% a contained in crushable soft capsules, such as gelatin, thermoactive active ingredient, such as calcium chloride or magnesium sulfate.
Through trial series, the Wiikstoffkonzentration could be significantly reduced compared to the prior art, and without significant loss of activity. It has been found that the particular sequence of hexapeptide-l 1 is not crucial. A loss of activity - if at all occasionally present - but in any case compensated by the addition of the thermoactive agent, but even increased. Due to the fact that the thermoactive active substance is initially embedded in soft capsules in a manner known per se, which are crushed only when the preparation is massaged in, a local surface heating of the scalp is effected, which increases the activity of all active ingredients. By heating and subsequent cooling to the usual surface temperature of the scalp, this is in principle subjected to a "Kneipp cure", ie it is the stimulus of heat and cold exploited.
Preferably, the just outlined scalp care preparation according to the invention can still contain 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of silica in pellet form having a size of
· 500 to 5000 nm in order to achieve an exfoliating effect when massaged in, ie to remove dead skin cells or to mechanically scrape off the uppermost horn layer of the skin. The silica pellets dissolve without leaving any residue.
Furthermore, it has been shown that by addition of 5.0 to 15.0% by weight of slightly alkaline thermal water, the scalp flora can additionally be stimulated positively. These thermal waters have a pH of about 7.05 to 7.50 and contain either dissolved hydrogen sulfides in a concentration of about 0.5 to 25 mg / 1 and - in addition to other ingredients such as trivalent iron - divalent sulfur in an amount of about 1.8 to 18.5 mg / l. The beneficial effects of thermal water in the treatment and cure of dermatological diseases and its keratolytic effects are well known.
By adding 0.10 to 1.00% by weight of oak root extract, the resistance of the skin can be further improved. This water-soluble plant active ingredient is known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and healing-promoting properties and, moreover, has an itching-quenching effect.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an example recipe of the decisive constituents.

Fennel seed extract 0,040
Toothpickery extract 0.050
Apple fruit extract 0,025

-4- -4- up to 0.200% by weight
Furthermore, various plant extracts (eg cane sugar, lemon extracts, camellia leaf extracts, etc.) may be present.
In the finished, gel-shaped scalp care preparation can be added cumulatively or alternatively:
Silica pellets 1.0 to 5.0% by weight (particle size 500 to 5000 nm)
Thermal water (pH 7.15, dissolved hydrogen sulphide 24.9 mg / l, divalent sulfur 18.5 mg / l) 15.00% by weight
Oak root extract 0.10% by weight
The above outlined preparation has proven to be at least equivalent to the products on the market in the short-term studies conducted so far, although it has significantly lower concentrations of active substance. Long-term studies in progress indicate that the warming effect of massaging in the preparation may even increase the effect.
